Another motor yacht leaves the Lürssen-Kröger shipyard

Another motor yacht leaves the Lürssen-Kröger shipyard at Schacht-Audorf near Rendsburg. Die 90 Meter lange und 14,7 Meter breite Motoryacht „1601“ wurde vom norwegischen Bootsdesigner Espen Oeino entwickelt.

The motor yacht has a straightforward design with clean lines, plane surfaces and is dominated by angular corners. The clean design of the exterior gives the impression of geometric precision. Das klare Design des Äußeren vermittelt den Eindruck einer geometrischen Präzision.

Onboard highlights include an outdoor movie theater and a variable-depth pool floor that incorporates a dance floor.

For this project, the company Gilz Tech GmbH was commissioned with several projects at once.

The first project, a telescopic light mast with a stroke of 6.4 meters, is located in the foredeck. The tubes of the mast are a special production of carbon and the associated individual parts were made of high-quality stainless steels and plastics. The 2-stage mast was finished with a high-gloss black paint.

The second project is a 1 x 1 meter hatch for the Crows-Nest-Hatch. A special design was made especially for this requirement. This hatch made of carbon could convince with its low dead weight and the clean design.

For the wellness area inside the ship, a removable stainless-steel staircase was designed and installed with our reinforced fasteners. The staircase itself got a high gloss polished finish.

For the supply of various hydraulic systems on the ship, 3 central hydraulic power packs were designed, built and delivered according to the specifications and the designated places.

But the biggest and most exciting project of Gilz Tech GmbH was the telescopic crane next to the helicopter landing pad. Here, the entire crane is created in the same optics as the yacht. The beveled corners give this crane the exact same characteristics. In addition, a lot of emphasis was placed on the clear surfaces from the outside, which were also executed accordingly as desired.

The whole team of Gilz Tech GmbH is very happy to be involved in such projects and is always pleased to be able to contribute with their experience and initiative to such projects.

The entire team would like to thank the new owner and his crew for the trust they have placed in the company. May you always have wind in your sails and a hand-width of water under your keel!
